The CompuPay TPA group has it origins in Aid Pension Administrators, which was founded in 1982. In 1999 APA was acquired by PayMaxx, Inc, a national payroll processing company and leader in Internet-based payroll. In 2005 PayMaxx was merged with CompuPay, Inc. to become the 4th largest payroll processing company. This connection with payroll allows CompuPay?s TPA Group to bundle payroll, tax filing, investments, and plan administration. This package uses an intra-company data interface that conveniently and seamlessly transmits employee data electronically to the administration team and investment vendor.
